Small Business Petition in Support of AB 83
CalChamber has come out in opposition to AB 83. Small Business owners in California, members of local Chambers of Commerce, were not consulted before this position was taken.
U.S. Election law (52 US Code, Section 30121) is clear: there should be no foreign money in US elections contributed either “directly or indirectly.”
We, the undersigned small business owners, are in support of AB 83.
When giant multi-national corporations look at California they see a market to control and exploit. They do not see communities to serve and be part of.
We urge our representatives in the California Legislature to vote “aye” on AB 83, to Get Foreign Money Out of California Elections and bring California into compliance with federal law.
